Biography
Martee Rule: Bass, Lead Vocals
David Paullus: Guitars, Background Vocals
Peter Leach: Drums, Background Vocals, Keyboard
 | Martee Rule accepted Jesus as his personal Savior
at age 13. The Lord showed him that his musical gift was
given him for a Higher Purpose, as well as a shining testimony
to God’s Omnipotence and Grace when he was delivered from a
10-year prison term which was miraculously reduced to
2 ½ years. Martee’s vision includes being given the band
name in answer to prayer, from Hebrews 4:12: The Word of
God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged
sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow. |
 | David Paullus and his wife Drucilla attend
Katy Family Church in Katy where David also serves as a member of the praise worship team.
Accepted Jesus Christ as Personal Savior at age 5. At age
13 ran from God and became heavily involved in a life of
sin. Started playing guitar with rock groups in the bar
scene as a teenager through early 20’s which led to drug
and alcohol addictions and occasional trouble with the law.
After leaving the bar scene became moderately successful
in business but still struggled with drugs and alcohol. Came
back to the Lord over eight years ago and is dedicated to obeying
God’s calling in the music ministry. |
 | Peter Leach recently graduated from college
and moved to Houston in August of 1996. Began attending
Grace Church and quickly became friends with Martee and Dave;
recognized a mutual desire to praise God through music.
Accepted Jesus at age 17. One evening, while talking about
God with a friend, the Holy Spirit came down, and the Power
of God was experienced for the first time. During some rough
times, the Peace of God never failed to come down and relieve
the pain; it is certain that He wants us to use the gifts
that He has given us. Began to realize that the love and
joy that God gives to His children was manifested in musical
expression. Music: It touches everyone’s soul - God speaks
through music: listen to what He’s saying. |
